My Story

Hi Thankyou so much for visiting my page and showing interest. Here is a little bit about myself and my story. So obviously my name is Inul Chowdhury. I’m the founder and CEO of RC Digital Media and also a life and business coach, I also host my own podcast ‘The Inul Chowdhury Show’. So my story started in Bangladesh where i was born then moved to UK when I was 16 years old. So the reason I moved to the UK from Bangladesh was due to losing both of my parents at 13. I lost my dad due to  cancer, He battled cancer for two to three years before he lost the battle and he passed on. And then I lost my mum a few months later due to heartbreak, she felt like she was alone and she couldn’t do her journey without her husband. She had a heart attack  the day before my 14th birthday and passed on. It was the most devastating moment of my life and things didn’t get any easier after. I’ve gone through severe anxiety attacks, anxiety disorder, depression, suicidal thoughts and other negative emotions through out my teenage years and early adulthood.

All these started after losing my parents at the age of 14 as I was living on my own for first two years before I moved to UK. It was a awful time in my life, I couldn’t sleep for nearly two years, I had insomnia, even though I tried sleeping pills and so many medication nothing worked. And then I moved to UK and that on its own wasn’t easy. I had to start everything from scratch because of this new foreign world. English wasn’t my first language so I had to learn something completely new and everyone at college wasn’t the nicest, I was being bullied because of my accent and the way I spoke. While I was studying in college I also had a full time job working around 60 to 70 hours a week only to make around 100 pounds a week, working out less than two pound an hour. I worked at that job for three years, then I managed to start a takeaway business with my brother, were I learnt how to become a chef.

I moved my way up the takeaway trade while also in university. I originally wanted to get in to business management or accountancy which I was excited about, but because of my education level coming from bangladesh i wasn’t able to go through on to them courses as it was  challenging so I had to choose a career path I wasn’t 100% in to. Using my degree I studied in university and I became a primary school teacher but I followed my passion and eventually  transition in to business later on. I did enjoyed teaching, loved the children but the problem for me was  It wasn’t my dream job too. The curriculum, system and everything else, it wasn’t for me because even though you feel like you’re working eight till three there is more work when you come home; planning, marking etc. Plus money wise I just didn’t see the worth, I personally would have had to get a second job to supplement my income. I had to think about my future; if my wife or my partner doesn’t work, I cannot provide for my whole family on a teachers salary. This pushed me to take on what I wanted to do with my life; business. the earning potential is unlimited. Sky’s the limit. I carried on working in the takeaway while I figured out my next step. I was introduced to network marketing through a company called ACN. I was there for around six months, I tried to figure out it all out and manage to work my way up a little but then I realized this is not something I wanted to do either. I realized I kept changing my career path and that is not something I continuously wanted to do, I wanted to find my passion and stick to it. I don’t want to chase my family, friends, or strangers dreams but find my own. I managed to find a mentor who helped change my mindset and teach me ways to grow my own business. A few important things I learnt was self development, personal development, ways to motivate myself and changing my mindset. I started to work on small goals on self development first. I started to read books, watch videos on YouTube videos and listen to podcasts to help motivate me and open my mind up to different methods and possibilities. I started searching online, googling and learning off YouTube different methods to lead me to be the best at Online marketing. Bonus was being able to work from home and being my own boss. My main goal was to create a community where people can see my work and can reach out to me for help them in there business my marketing for them as a freelancer. I did this for three years before I transitioned into my own agency. I started my agency in 2016 and grew the business. It was a hard journey but was all worth it. There was many sleepless nights, many long hours, stressful hurdles I had to go through in order to get to where I wanted to be but I made it!

I got married at the age of 24 in 2018.  I met the love of my life in 2017 and we got married in 2018, as I wanted to start our life together.

In 2019 I was bleeding through my bowel and wasn’t sure what was the reason, I thought it was due to stress from work or the long hours that`s affected my health but I didn’t want to take any medical attention as I thought it will get better on its own. I didn’t realize it was ulcerative colitis and how serious it could be. I thought it was like a IBS, So I tried focusing on my diet and exercising more to see if it’ll get better or at least get under control. Then in 2021 we was blessed with our first child during COVID, but the day he was born wasn’t the joyful and happiest day I imagined, he suffered brain damage during the birth due to lack of oxygen. Then to top it off the doctor told us he probably was not going to make it past the  next 24 hours as he was very poorly. That was the most devastating moment in my life close to when I lost my parents. I had to go through similar feelings as it brought back all the trauma I faced in my past. They told us he was going to die the day before my birthday on the 8th as he was born on the 7th and my birthdays on the 9th which also happens to be my mothers death date. But me and my wife both believed he was going to pull through, he was going to fight and actually he did. My son was in NICU for six weeks before he came home. And even then the struggle didn’t stop. His brain bleeds caused a lot of damage which caused other health issues; he has got epilepsy, celebral palsy as well as other health issues. but we stay positive and try give him the best life we possibly can provide him with.
All this is a part of my everyday life and is stressful, it all built up so much that in 2022, I was severely ill with my ulcerative colitis and I had to go to the hospital. I got a full check up, that`s when I got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Then I started on all of the medication that came with having that medical condition,  they put me on steroids because of the heavy bleeding and that affected my mental health severely as well as brought my anxiety levels really high. It all got so bad I couldn’t go out of the house for six months or run my business. It was tough but i had to overcome my anxiety, my depression and my health issues. I had to be strong. I decided from the first of January 2023 I’m going to face it head on and going to take one day at a time and focus on myself. I am shooting this video is January 2024 after just 12 months on from battling with my mental health i feel like completely different person than what I was in 2022 because of everything I’ve gone through qnd right now I’ll say I am about 95 percent better compared to what I was. So my life hasn’t been easy its had major ups and down. It has been a journey. Overall I have managed to build my business as well as managed to launch another program called Biz school Community where I’ve been teaching other coaches and consultant agency owners, how they can scale bigger and how can they build their own business online. The Biz School Community was launched in December 2023 with already 80 to 90 people in the community. We have massive things to come and this part of my story has just started. it’s progressing and a lot more is to come, so I hope you’re going to stay with me and learn from my journey and I hope to inspire you guys. So if you have any questions reach out as I’m happy to help and stay tuned throughout my journey.
